George is the team leader at USTADI. He has over 26 Years’ experience working for organizations including Aga Khan Foundation, DANIDA, and SIDA among others.
George holds an MBA and Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, a Diploma in Education. He has various certificates on Value Chain Analysis and Facilitation, Agribusiness SME Tools and Concepts, Organizational Change Management, Management for sustainability and Corporate governance among others.
George has a strong track record in a wide range of areas including; Water and Sanitation Education, Natural Resource Management, Environment, Agricultural business development, Value Chain Facilitation, Business, Development Services, business strategy development and, Capacity
Development, and facilitating development support to Micro & Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs.
He is tasked with:
- Leading and managing the organization efficiently, effectively, timely, and to required standards.
- Coordinating all USTADI programmes as well as components i.e. Funding Mechanism, CDS Market places and National Learning Mechanism
- Carry out resource mobilization, recruit, mentor and manage staff/partnership
